For topic we have been learning abot the zones of regulation the green zone, the blue zone, the yellow zone and the red zone. The green zone is happy and calm. The blue zone is being sad and tired. The yellow zone is being overwelmed, excited and nervous. The red zone is being elated, out of controll and mad. We had to do stuff to keep us calm when in each zone. Here is my work made on canva:

Kia ora wlcome back or welcome to my blog. Today I will be telling you about my xplenation writing about a special celebration. For my special celebratio I chose pride week. Explenation writing is writing that explains a subject. here is my story.
Pride week is a week all about celebrating people in the lgbtq+ community. There’s lots of pride festivals and parades. There’s also lots of pride decorations and flags that fill the place with colours. Schools also tend to do pride stuff like stickers, decorations and much more.
The festivals and parades are one of the best parts about pride week in my opinion. It’s great to walk around and see all the people. The parades have many people walking around, waving, holding flags and doing anything from gymnastics to marching.
The decorations are lovely to look at. All the flags are put up and there are rainbows that fill the street. At night lights may be lit and people can go for a night stroll looking at them. The decorations are put up in many different places but are usually put up in town.
Most schools like to do some pride stuff on pride week. Pronoun and flag stickers can be handed out to kids who want them. The flagpole may have the lgbtq+ flag. Pride week at school may be the best week for kids that are part of the lgbtq+ community.
Pride week has lots of ways to be celebrated like pride festivals and parades. There’s also decorations and flags. Lastly there are a lot of schools that celebrate pride week. Do you celebrate pride week?
